Did your air bags deploy? If so, that will shut down the fuel delivery system. Also check the fuses in the PDC under the hood. I believe it is #14 that runs the ignition system.

I know this is an old thread but my .02 is that I used it on my XJ flares and didn't last more than about a month before it became blotchy. Re-applied it and same thing. Ended up using some Rustoleum Bed Liner on them and they've been good for almost two years now.

I used the heat gun on my XJ trim and that lasted a month or two before it became blotchy, I then used the Rustoleum bed liner and it has stayed looking good for almost a year. The Turtlewax trim black is crap!

Daughter totaled out her 04 TJ so the 06 KJ was supposed to be her replacement. She decided she liked my 00 XJ instead so I'm driving the KJ.
