I would go through jeepin by al, he’s very helpful and has 4.10 gears for the liberty. He was a lot cheaper than buying from my local off-road shop

With adding in the older radiator, are there any other parts I should get in order to retrofit it, or, does it just drop in like the one that came with the 05?
This is my plan for it:
-Flush and change the tranny fluid and filter
-have the pmr pan put on since mine is starting to rust
-install...
Thanks for the part numbers and suggestions.
Could I ask why you chose the aftermarket radiator vs the extreme duty mopar one?
I’m new to this, so correct me if I’m wrong please. You have the 03’s radiator routed to the thermostat then to the aftermarket aux radiator, then back to the pan...
I’ll get that done. I have always had the dealer do it early, the last flush was roughly at 84k if I remember correct. I bought it with 42k and had it flushed at 48k then at the 84k. I’ve seen that pan and it was on my list of “soon to buys”, my trans pan has been starting to rust on the...
I was just reading some posts on that. So if I understand it right, replace the radiator that is in there now with 02-03 radiator that has the tranny cooler built in, then add the severe duty cooler as a aux cooler. Is that correct?

I was just in drive. Do you think that the stop and go could have caused it? I wasn’t in 4wd and o/d wasn’t off.
Are you running any aftermarket transmission cooler?

Thanks for the reply, I will do that. What puzzled me was the fact I didn’t think I was working it hard. I wasn’t in 4wd and wasn’t driving it hard. Only thing I could think of that helped cause it would be the shifting up and down from getting up to speed then having to nearly stop for the...
Hi everyone,
Had a transmission temp warning pop up today when I was out in the jeep. It was about 80 degrees out, I was on the back roads and going from crawling to 20 mph. I think it was from the transmission shifting up and down but I’m not sure. I was only about 10 miles on the back roads...
Thanks for the reply. I held off buying the DTT till I could confirm that was the right part for the front. I wasnt totally confident with the guide that Eaton had. The arb was on sale for a good deal so I picked that up.
Thank you.
If anyone knows the right part number for the DTT in front...
I’m getting my re gear done and my mechanic said to check out 4wheel parts because they are cheaper than what he can buy.
Right now 4 wheel parts has the arb lockers on sale.
For the rear ARB locker 8.25 with 29 spline, RD93
And Eaton Detroit true trac up front
Part number: 912A585, Dana 30...
Does anyone know what part numbers are for the Detroit tru track front and rear?
Are the rears: 913A569
And the fronts: 912A585
Thanks!

Well I’m glad I called around and listened to tjk2002 on the parts. This other shop came in just over $900 cheaper for gears, and tru tracs front and rear installed.
Thanks for the help everyone!

Thanks I didn’t know that website existed, I’ll take a look at it.
So I shopped online and found the parts they quoted such as gears and tru tracks they inflated the price nearly $400 from what online prices are. That kinda rubs me the wrong way especially when they said they get the best...
Do you mean buy a diff off a salvage yard and have them put in gears in that? Or find a 4 cylinder with the 4.10’s?
I couldn’t find a any yards with a 4 cylinder to swap it with. I live in a small town so there are only a handful. I also called salvage yards within a 3 hour drive and no luck...
Do you think their quote for the amount of time is accurate? I know you are familiar with it, could you give me a rough idea what the cost might be. I know it’ll be different in other areas I just thought about 1800 would’ve been at the top of the price range.
Thanks for the insight everyone, I...
