Guys, I'm working away just now so can't get under the hood of my KJ for a looksee. Is there a "How To" for changing that front crankshaft seal? I've had a look, but can't find anything. I'm hoping one of you knowledgeable folks would be able to fast track me ;-) TIA

Since I'm away with work just now, I'd gotten a friend to have a go at fitting that new front propshaft I got. Turns out the new one looks like it's about 2" shorter than the original - I'm away so can't check myself - would any of you kind souls know the right length so I can chin our parts...

Prof, Those are really neat clamps for keep your cross bars on the centre line of the OEM roof bars. My cross bars sit on top of the OEM roof bars, but it's only 1" box section. It's not going to have jets flying underneath, but just a little higher than yours. I won't be doing much more to...

With the amount of gear that we're taking on this trip, I don't think having it slimline is going to make much difference to the amount of wind it catches.

Going to try and get nylocs on them, or loctite, just to remove any concerns over it coming loose.
