My only issue with this is if you go into some water that is higher then the bottom door jam then the CB will get fried and will blow a circuit.

Do you have any more pictures of this install? I took off the radio / AC bezel and behind the cubby hole there are three overlapping plastic plates. I assume you just drilled through these.

Is Chrysler reliable? Have they denied you on any repairs?

I haven't seen many burgandy ones either... I had to do a double take when I first saw it. Figure with a color like this I will likely end up calling it "Ron Burgundy".

Makes no sense... where are the recalls on every other model vehicle with rear mounted gas tanks? What about the Dodge Nitro which is built pretty much on a KJ body frame. Nitro's have the same tank location, as does many Ford's, Honda's, and other vehicles. Sounds like the Fed's are trying...

Sorry if there is a thread about this already, but can anyone suggest a good extended mechanical breakdown warranty? So far I have the options of the Chrysler-Jeep Warranty and Mercury Insurance Warranty.

This is what my buddies told me... to be honest I don't think I ever used the 4wd on my F150. Florida is flat. We MIGHT move to either East Texas or Arkansas in a year or so, which is the only reason why I wanted to get a 4wd.

Drats! Someone beat me to the lot and bought it out from under me. Then I found two more and those got bought before I could even get to the lot. So I'm still hunting... will keep y'all posted.
