    Poor heat

    We had the same problem. Changed all of the above items including a new water pump. Ended up biting the bullet and changed out the heater core and it will cook you now. Tons of heat pouring out now.

    From the picture of the brochure he has, it is the tent that attaches to the rear of the Jeep.

    I just looked at the Atlanta, Ga Craigslist and there is actually one listed for sale. The guy wants - OMG - $500 for it.

    Brake question

    Does the Liberty not have power assist brakes? Our 02 stops fine, but it seems like it just has hydraulic brakes with no power assist. There is what looks like a brake booster behind the master cylinder next to the firewall. No loose vacuum lines that I can find.

    In December, we bought an 02 Liberty Limited and have been having the off and on heat problems that I have read so much about on this forum. We changed the thermostat. The water pump was replaced. The heater core was back flushed and appeared ok. Cooling system was flushed also. Blend door...

    New member from Ga.

    Hey all, Just bought a 02 Liberty Limited for my daughter after she totaled her 07 Kia Rondo. Jeep is really nice and has a lot of options including the one that makes the heat not work very well. :icon_biggrin: Already started reading up on the other threads about the heater problems. BTW...
