Leaking axle seal
I'm about to pull my hair out with this dang axle seal. I replaced both front cv axles back in October. And shortly after the driver side axle seal started leaking. I have since out 4 new seals in it with no luck. They all continue to leak. I just became aware that there are inner axle seals...- cecil3030

Which transmission do I have
Got a 06 jeep liberty limited with a auto transmission and am looking at ordering a torque converter for it but it seems there are 2 different transmissions. I think it's the 42rle. Not sure though. Any way to tell? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk- cecil3030

Torque coverter
Torque coverter is on the down hill slide, it's having locking and unlocking issues between 30 and 45 mph, so I'm looking at replacing it. Any brand I should avoid? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk- cecil3030

Front axle seal
Back in October I replaced the cv axles in the front of my liberty. Shortly after the driver side axle seal started leaking. Fast foward to last week. I replaced all my ball joints and while I had it tore down I put a new axle seal on it. But it is still leaking. Any ideas on what's going wrong...- cecil3030

Transmission code
I posted a few days ago about my 06 liberty vibrating real hard on the interstate for about 30 seconds l. Immediately after it quit vibrating check engine light came on. I pulled the code today. I got a p0700 and a p0740 both being transmission related. I can't remember which one it was but one...- cecil3030

06 liberty issue
While driving my 06 liberty on the interstate today going 70 mph up a small hill with the cruise set, the whole jeep vibrated for about 30 seconds and then stopped and the check engine light came on. Haven't had a chance to pull the code but I somehow feel like this is torque converter related...- cecil3030

Transmission issue
I just bought a 2006 limited liberty today with 103k miles. When your cruising along at low rpm's between 30 and 50 mph the transmission almost acts like it wants to shift back and forth between gears. It only does it at low rpms.
