Steering Fluid Leak

My daughter has a 2004 Liberty. Recently, she let me know that her steering was becoming more difficult and the vehicle was making a sound when she turned the wheel. I checked her steering fluid and noticed it was down, so picked up the recommended transmission fluid and topped the resevoir off...
