Receiver hitch and rear tow hook?
They're designed to hold a trailer that comes off the hitch aren't they? I think they'd hold up just fine. I pulled a car that was tangled in a guard rail on the side of the road from a crash with my old Ranger using those points on the hitch once. I actually started to pull the rad support...- thecause17

Do you really need it? Most hitches, at least all i have had, have places on them where you normally attach safety chains when towing...they work great as tow hooks also, I've used them for just that in the past.- thecause17

The 2.4 doesn't have the coil packs, it has plug wires. Have you done any other tune up procedures other than the plugs? How about plug wires? If not, I suggest you do that, replace the fuel filter and run some injector cleaner through it and see what you get out of it. If it's stuff you...- thecause17

I think it sounds pretty decent. Personally it's not my cup of tea, mostly because of the high end sound...but I also understand that this engine sounds like that, as do all OHC smaller displacement engines. Mileage dilemma
I don't know what some of you people expect for gas milage out of a 4000lb SUV. Seriously, to say gas milage is crap is either an exageration, or a total lack of experience. I average 17-18 around town in mine, and I've seen as high as 24mpg on the highway. And I do it regularly. Honestly...- thecause17

It should've been just the opposite. If you have a spongy pedal, they might need to be bled...if air gets into the line, that creates the problem, since when the hydaulic fluid pushes, instead of pushing all of it's pressure to the caliper, some it is just compressing air that's in the lines...- thecause17

Getting larger rotors is alot more than just putting them on, the only option you'll probably ever see for the Jeeps is a crossed drilled and/or slotted like he has. If you want larger rotors, you're talking custom brackets and usually calipers because the caliper would have to be moved outward...- thecause17
