It'd still be a good idea to change the wires if you haven't in the past...

Receiver hitch and rear tow hook?

They're designed to hold a trailer that comes off the hitch aren't they? I think they'd hold up just fine. I pulled a car that was tangled in a guard rail on the side of the road from a crash with my old Ranger using those points on the hitch once. I actually started to pull the rad support...

Receiver hitch and rear tow hook?

Do you really need it? Most hitches, at least all i have had, have places on them where you normally attach safety chains when towing...they work great as tow hooks also, I've used them for just that in the past.

    Engine Idles rough

The 2.4 doesn't have the coil packs, it has plug wires. Have you done any other tune up procedures other than the plugs? How about plug wires? If not, I suggest you do that, replace the fuel filter and run some injector cleaner through it and see what you get out of it. If it's stuff you...

Safety Recall G03 - KJ BLOWER MOTOR

Until you get it fixed don't use your blower motor on the higher settings.

    Mileage dilemma

I'm aware of that dealership...I can actually walk to it if I wanted to. That's the problem with old timers, they think they know everything, and they think younger people don't know anything. I know how to drive in winter conditions, and I haven't had any trouble, and I have yet to lock my...

Woot Woot.. Master of the Flow..

I think it sounds pretty decent. Personally it's not my cup of tea, mostly because of the high end sound...but I also understand that this engine sounds like that, as do all OHC smaller displacement engines. Myself I've always had a soft spot for Gibson systems, have had them on my last three...

    Mileage dilemma

I don't know what some of you people expect for gas milage out of a 4000lb SUV. Seriously, to say gas milage is crap is either an exageration, or a total lack of experience. I average 17-18 around town in mine, and I've seen as high as 24mpg on the highway. And I do it regularly. Honestly...

    Bendix Brake Pads

I was under the impression that the factory pads were made by Bendix....they were listed as OE equipment when I bought them. I have them on the rear.

ABS wasn't standard until '06 when the ESP came out....out of the 5 KJ's in my family, none of them have ABS except for my dad's uncle's '06 Limited.

    PIAA Xtreme White Plus

I'm not into blue tint or blinginess, I'm into visibility...and they are better, hands down. If I wanted blinginess and blue tint i would've went and bought the stupid "cool blue" lights that people sell for about half the price. It also helps that my company is heavily affilliated with...

New 18" wheels with General Grabber AT2

It should've been just the opposite. If you have a spongy pedal, they might need to be bled...if air gets into the line, that creates the problem, since when the hydaulic fluid pushes, instead of pushing all of it's pressure to the caliper, some it is just compressing air that's in the lines...

    Rear mounted fog/auxilary light?

Yeah I've looked around some and found some nice kits, even some nice LED kits as well.

New 18" wheels with General Grabber AT2

Getting larger rotors is alot more than just putting them on, the only option you'll probably ever see for the Jeeps is a crossed drilled and/or slotted like he has. If you want larger rotors, you're talking custom brackets and usually calipers because the caliper would have to be moved outward...

    Rear mounted fog/auxilary light?

Does anyone have one? I've been thinking about mounting one for quite some time, as I could actually get some use of it it certain situations, was just wondering if anyone else uses one.

That's what I was thinking. wtf? It looks good...I had a set of that brand of wheel on my Explorer...they seem to be good quality for the price. Discount Tire usually has some good deals like free shipping, etc...
