    I've hit 24 a few different times with mine on trips. Lately on trips I've been getting 22-23 though, running the A/C. Around town and to work I've been getting 17-18. I'm not sure how you're coming to your mpg is an accurate assumption...if you put 7 gallons in, how do you know how much...

    I only do occasionally when I either want to pass somebody, get on an on ramp in a hurry, or if I just wanna have a little fun. Otherwise I don't hit 4k that much. 3k maybe, but not 4k. Besides, I like to get good gas milage. :)

    I'm not sure, their starting to get so complicated anymore...are they even still OBD-II? Or did III come out yet? If it's II they should still do that I would imagine...if you have access to one try it, I'm curious now too. :)

    Mine always lock at 15mph, but I've never noticed a beep when they lock while driving. I have noticed it though when locking the doors walking away from the vehicle, occasionally I'll hear it, a beep other than the horn.

    You have to drop the pan to change those. I've never done it on a KJ but I did it on my old Explorer and it's not a whole lot of fun, but it's not hard, just messy. I'd imagine it's really similar to change on a KJ.

    Regular versus Premium Gas

    I've tried premium in every vehicle I've ever owned to see if it made a difference in performance and milage. The fact is, the only vehicle I've ever seen run any better on it for me was also the only vehicle I've ever had that premium was recommended by the manufacturer...moral of the story...
