I just wanted to add that if you want to understand how the 4x4 system works you need to understand how a differential works since there is one in each axle and one in your transfer case if you have 4FT.- icarl

Yeah, you don't want to drive with 4hi or 4lo on high traction surface. There is 4hi, 4lo, and 4 oh no @#! I forgot to shift it back to 2hi! :eek:- icarl

I used PT on the highway all the time in winter but then again i live in an area where the highways get covered in snow/ice. Skid Plates and Stuff????

I'm thinking this over...
You're selling a 6 year old reliable vehicle for peanuts to buy a 13 year old unreliable vehicle. Doesn't it makes more sense to keep the kj and use it as a daily driver. Then save up and buy a cheap xj that you can mod?- icarl

A favorite of mine: Try going up steeper hills in the winter. You have to finesse the throttle. When you get stuck back up a few inches and try again. I've made it to the top of snow covered steep hills one inch at a time. Use as little throttle as you need as more throttle equals tires...- icarl

This is how much money I can expect to pay for OME Coil Springs,etc.
For that much money you might as well get a Frankenlift from All J's. That's what i did. Even, if you don't want that much lift you could strip the frankenlift and create an ome lift from it.- icarl
