Will 15x8 Cragar soft 8s fit?
A good deal may be waiting for me if these wheels will fit: Cragar soft 8, 15"x8", 5x4.5 bolt pattern, 4" back space... So will they fit?:confused:- kjpilot

?Front wheel drive KJ?
They must have changed it for the 2003+ models. When I did my T-case swap, I had my 231, a 242 from a 2004 WJ, a 2003 KJ 242, & a 2004 KJ 242 & they were all sealed cases. Maybe that was another difference between the pre-lowered & lowered 2002s? I don't know.- kjpilot

I was the one who NEEDED to do this. I only went about 25 miles. It caused zero problems, but I'd not suggest doing it for more than an emergency proceedure. The T-cases on the Liberty, both the 231 & the 242 are sealed, so no leaking will occur from the slip yoke. It also doesn't matter if...- kjpilot

My JE Reels had the retaining clip notch machined in the cup, but did not come with clips. I had to scavenge the clips from my OE axles & put them in.- kjpilot

anybody got a JBA 6in lift?
I have the 4" kit, & installed it myself. I'm pretty satisfied with it, sadly I haven't taken it off road yet. Considering the limitations Troy mentioned, & that you can get the kit & JE Reel axles & Skid Row Plates & RL rock rails for about half the price... well, it may be a better fit:cool:- kjpilot

AHHH! Right you are! I saw "JBA" and assumed that we were talking about the 4" or 6" kits. After all my research before getting my kit, if I were going with the standard 2.5" lift, I'd do as Tommudd says- OME with the long shocks.- kjpilot

Check your spark plugs
Theoretically, platinums should last about 60K or so... but if it were me, with my experience with KJ spark plugs, I'd inspect them every 30K & put on some fresh anti-seize.- kjpilot

Yeah, but other than that freak occurrence, typically you don't have to change a regulator. A Fuel Filter should be changed every 30,000 miles... especially this one.
