    My Mods on my libby

Impressive. The vertical drop is 60 meters, just under 200 feet, which is very small. BUT it's all indoors & in the middle of the desert! That's way more impressive than an indoor hockey rink! I just didn't think anyone there would care too much for hockey, so finding pucks at the store would...

Do they have hockey pucks in the Middle-East?(whistle):)

    subwoofers

I've been thinking of a custom box fitted in the rear gate using two 10" subs designed to use only .5 cubic foot enclosure volume each. a 12" that uses 0.8-1 cubic foot would be awesome too. I have some old Boston Acoustic Rallys for the KJ (a 10" Pro in the BMW), but those are old school. I...

This makes a $55,000 Hemi JK look reasonable!

Would have rather seen a video of it off-road.;)

My first car was a 1971 Gremlin. This would be a huge improvement!

The red one on the top that says $109,000! I do think the wheels look cool, but I'd never off road with them. I can't think of any other reason to have a built JK other than off road.

This makes a $55,000 Hemi JK look reasonable!

Holy crap! Well, At least it's already built. The wheels are a bit blingy for me but I'm guessing that at $110K they'd swap them out for you!

    Liberty Handling

My KJ was stock until about a year ago. My other cars are a '94 Miata with a factory race package... basically a go-kart, & a '94 BMW, known for sensitive communicative steering. Compared to those, the KJ is numb & handles like the QEII:). Like I said It's all relative.

    Liberty Handling

Interesting, I've never heard nor had this complaint before. Last thing I'd ever describe the KJ as is sensitive or go-kart like. I guess it's all relative.

    Cracked 22mpg combined

I ran my BF Goodrich long trail t/a at 44 psi for a while, & the handling characteristics scared me back down to 36 psi. I experienced much less control. Granted I prefer sports car control over truck wallowing on the road, so I may be more jittery than some, but I think the way the KJ handled...

    Broken...

Negative, ghost rider... I've had to take mine apart to replace the boot. the CV cup walls are thicker, & the internals are a bit beefier, & of course sized to fit the thicker cup. freshly machined stuff too... way more than a cool boot:rolleyes: They are based on a reman platform, but that is...

    Plastic ribs on the roof?

I do not have them. I suspect that they are just on with some sort of adhesive. They are there to protect the finish on the roof when you throw stuff up there.

Yeah, for $350 per side you should be able to get JE Reel HD axles!

    ?Front wheel drive KJ?

:o Looking through my notes, I see that I at one time knew this about the 242!:o I got my research crossed, When I was deciding on a t-case swap, I thought briefly about the quadra-trac 249 t-case, but didn't like the idea of clutch packs instead of gears... Oh well, thoroughly schooled!

    ?Front wheel drive KJ?

It's more like a LSD than an open diff. I did mine in part time so I don't know from experience, but it seems to me that if the output shaft spun freely with no load, that would be similar to slipping the rear wheels, which is when more power is transfered to the front. I would not do it in...

    Broken...

Try this web site, You should be able to get a used t-case for around $300. The Liberty has a 32 spline output shaft on both the selec-trac & command-trac t-cases, & I don't know what other jeeps have that... I can tell you that the WJ & XJ have only 27 splines, so you are safest getting a...

Will 15x8 Cragar soft 8s fit?

For the large part, you are correct. Some steel 15" wheels fit, but barely. I was checking to see if Cragar soft 8s were one of brands that fit. As far as I know, there are no 15" alloys that will fit.
