    Mr. Clean Auto Dry

Car wash When I come in from the trail, I'll spray it off at a car wash before washing it myself. Mainly, to keep all the much out of my driveway. I had poor results just spraying, so I always handwash with a sponge and the Mr. Clean soap. My Jeep is black, everything shows. Then I spray it...

    Mr. Clean Auto Dry

Autodry I bought one when they first came out, they have a new version now. The new version has a more powerful spray. The original is navy blue, the newer one is black. It works great, but you have to use their soap and their filter. They claim the filter lasts up to 10 washes, it turns...

New engines These are to meet with new federal emission standards, which I think go into effect in 2010. The new engines will be more fuel efficient and cleaner running. Generally, higher fuel economy means more you're squeezing more energy out of a gallon of gas. This can result in higher...

    Speaker upgrade questions

I'm looking for some better sounding speakers, nothing outrageous, I just want a crisper, cleaner sound. I could care less about the bass. I found some Infinity speakers at a local junk yard for a good price. To 'upgrade' to the premium sound system, do I just need to swap out the speakers, or...

    double-sized dash for navigation possible?

Nav That's exactly the system I've been looking at. Yes, it is possible to install a double-DIN sized head unit into the dash. The only problem is you will have to make a new bezel to install around the radio. You could dremel the factory one, or custom make on from fiberglass. I talked with...

    Wish me luck!!

Environmental consultant Basically he does long term groundwater remediation of contaminated sites. Most of his work involves petroleum (gas, diesel, jet fuel) tanker spills. rear interior side panel removal

Panel If memory serves, you will need to remove the pieces above and below the rear swing gate opening to remove either rear trim panel. That might be enough to get at what you need, but you might also have to remove the seatbelt bolt, and the plastic piece at the bottom of the rear door, if...

    Which is better ...... RB1 or RB4

Nav I honestly don't like either on. I've heard that a 2-din system will fit in the the radio slot, but some modification to the radio beze is required. Aftermarket units have a 6-7" screen, satellite radio, play DVD's and plat .mp3's & .wma's. I'm looking at Kenwoods...but it will be a...

How to almost get killed in a KJ

Dirt road You either caught the edge of the tarred road and that caused you to lose control. Anytime you change driving medium (i.e. tar to dirt) it will cause a change in speed. Since only a couple of your wheel were on the dirt at first, it would have pulled you towards the tarred road, and...

    HOW TO: Improve your MPG

Touche Good points. Your computer can only add fuel too a point. A larger fuel pump and large diameter lines will be necessary. I'm not sure why I was thinking altitude hurt your fuel economy. It hurts you horsepower. Alcohol has a way of playing tricks on you like that.
