    I have had this problem before. What had happened was I had the jeep in 4H, forgot to shift it into 2wd before turning it off and then shifted it to 2wd with it off... next time I turned it on I was stuck in 4H... so I shifted it back to 2wd, turned the car off, shifted it to 4H, turned the car...

    Quick question... what is the purpose of the Renegade having the larger output alternator... the only extra I can think of is the roof lights, which I couldn't see drawing that much extra?

    Actually yes... I was looking at that! Don't know about ebay though, I'd like to know I'm getting what I pay for... clean up my camshaft... install new valve stems, seals, springs, etc... probably reuse the rocker arms... but we'll see... I'll replace what can be seen and put it back together...

    I am ATLEAST the SECOND owner... hell, I'm still on the first set of tires, just to show how long I have NOT owned it... I change the oil every 3000 miles. Reset my trip everytime, and keep track... I just use basic oil... the cheap stuff I guess...

    I'm really not sure what the previous owner did. I bought it at 64,000 miles. At 82000 miles I had to put a new transmission into it... and now this laundry list of problems... such as leaking power steering, leaking coolant, misfires, and sludge appearently... I've kept up on the regular...
