    2007 lift recommendation help

Just be careful, the front struts are horrible to compress, the little screw style compressors won't fit, you need a floor mounted compressor.

What did you do to your jeep today?

I did my H&R springs on a floor mounted compressor, they didn't fit the jaws very well. I had a length of chain wrapped round the whole thing and my teeth clenched!

    European KJ question

Yes they were, all the early manuals were 2.5, I'd guess the NV3500 wasn't capable of dealing with the 2.8. With all the manuals beware of the duel mass flywheel, the diesel gives it a battering and its expensive to replace. The CRD's are well supported for parts in Europe, much more so than the US.

    P0765 Shift Solenoid "B"question.

Yes, the solenoids are what you replaced. Blackhawk gives a measurement for the resistance. Start by checking the solenoid is OK (I have bought brand new faulty parts, so I always like to start at the beginning!) then work back from there checking the wiring, if that all checks out it's looking...

Sorry, I don't think there are any later manuals online, as Gyro says, most of the manuals are the same for all.

    Larger rear coils

8 inches is a massive amount, how long are the shocks & are they actually for a KJ? Check you haven't been sold WK or JK lift parts. I think you will have all sorts of fun with driveshafts & CV angles going up that much.

    European KJ question

The 6 speed manuals were introduced when they boosted the power of the 2.8 with the VNT turbo around 2005, the 2.5 manual was dropped then. The engines are very similar, as far as I know its only the pistons and liners that altered the capacity.

    P0765 Shift Solenoid "B"question.

Have you checked the solenoid as Blackhawk described?

2003 jeep liberty 45rfe transmission TCM swap to a 545rfe???

The CRD's have the 545 with the extra gear so it can be done, no idea how though! @joshgoble any advise?

    European KJ question

The early manuals were 2.5 CRDs with a 5 speed NV3500, the later 2.8CRDs were a 6 speed NSG box. Any particular reason why you want a manual? I have a 2.5 manual & a 2.8 auto and the auto is much nicer to drive.

    P0765 Shift Solenoid "B"question.

Get the codes read again, total loss of shifting suggests the TCM is very unhappy! I'd guess a plug, wiring fault or a faulty TCM.

    Brake lights not working....help

Have you tested directly on the rear wiring? The manuals with all the wiring diagrams are available to download here - http://www.colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ/ I think your probably right about a broken wire.

2006 CRD Limited Loosing Coolant... Pass Cold Engine Test.

Is that where the leak is? The thermostat is easy to replace but if you have put thet horrible leak seal in the system I'd do a flush and refill with fresh HOAT at the same time.

KJ won't start, security light stays on.

Try starting it with the key in the run position when you flash the starter. If that works look at the keyswitch and the neutral interlock on the selector.

2006 CRD Limited Loosing Coolant... Pass Cold Engine Test.

The tank must have some baffles inside it. Cold max fill is the seam and hot max is the small plastic line. I would find the source of the leak before driving it too much, running out of coolant will do serious damage to the engine. The big steel plate under the engine comes off easily, loosen...

What did you do to your jeep today?

The rockers are structural in the unibody the thin outers cover some fairly substantial steelwork, there's a welded up box section inside that runs the full length, I wonder if loosing this has caused the failure? Also maybe worn out springs make the suspension bottom out, maybe that's part of...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Wow! That's bad! Are you running a big lift or something unusual? Or is the car rusty underneath? It's going to be a pain to weld if that crack goes behind the windscreen but if the rest of the car is solid I'd clean it out, Vee it and put a full pen weld into it, the factory welds don't look...

What the heck is this thing?

No it's a master cylinder and slave setup the same as yours.

    Torque Converter

Before you get too deep into it take it to a transmission shop and get them to look at it, there are test ports in the body they can check the pressures on to see what's happening, it may be a valve block issue.
