If the belt is spinning but not the rest of the black part, take a hammer or screwdriver and lightly tap the core part of the clutch to see if it kicks on.- Warren.fischbeck

See if the clutch is engaged for the first five minutes or so of no cold air, it could be the clutch sticking and then engaging.- Warren.fischbeck

5 speed issues.
If it was the slave cylinder it would be happening when shifting into any gear. What happens if you skip first and try to launch from a stop in second? Will it go into second when not moving?- Warren.fischbeck

warranty with deductible?

If you have a non-optimal spark it shouldn't set off the CEL, the computers have a range of aceptable parameters... New, properly gapped plugs could make the biggest impact.- Warren.fischbeck
