Move it to the hood for wheeling with a peace of felt cloth under it , then back to the roof when on the road . , my ant is right behind my factory roof light bar so it very seldom gets knocked over . it only stands 14 " tall , so it is protected behind the light bar.
I just stuck my CB between the passenger seat and console and put the Magnetic Antenna on the roof and works great , if I knock it over on the trail just set it upright and go .
I have a 2006 Liberty ( Renagade ) with 27,00 miles on it , and had to take it in to get the left rear wheel speed senser replaced and they found my rear rotors pitted real bad , Has anyone else had this problem ? and to what did it get counted for ?
It could be, I just had to replace the left rear one on mine , and it stopped the cruise control from working also , a code machine will tell you which and if it is a speed sensor. if you are able to do the work do it your self , it coast me $250 at the Stealer-ship.
I have the Cobra 25 WX and just stuck t between the passenger seat and console with the Magnetic ant. ran down behind the door seal. with a small speaker on the aux. speaker jack hooked to the sun visor on the drivers side .
I have been using this setup for the past 15 yrs with no trouble the GPS I just added about a year ago. IT a Fuzzbuster CB and a High-gain ant. A Garmin GPS and a Migellan eXplorist 200 Hand Held.
