I received the 7V glowplug today via US Mail. I had to sign for it, which is just fine. It was shipped on the 12th, and I got it today on the 20th. It was in perfect order, in a bubble wrapped envelope; no issues with the shipping. I likely won't get this installed until sometime...- Mopars-Only

P1267 #4 Glowplug voltage low
Early on the wiring harness connected to the glow plugs was crossed up between glowplugs 1 and 4; my own CRD was found to be that way when they got it in to do the EGR change. P1267 #4 Glowplug voltage low
According to my Innova scanner, my check engine light is setting because of the P1267 code. I don't even find that code in the Factory Service Manual, it is just not listed. For that reason, I guess they put it in the PCM when they flashed it during the recall they did very early on. They...- Mopars-Only

CRD Problem
Driving down the interstate one day when my CRD had maybe 1500 miles on it or so, I punched it to pass a truck and it did that same thing. Ran like it was on two cylinders maybe. Mechanical Fan Clutch Replacement 2005 2.8 L
My fan clutch failed on my `05 CRD at about 80K miles. I used a very large crescent wrench that opens real large to remove and replace the clutch hub. 2,8CRD cutting out
Make sure your fuel filter is tight on the filter base, and pump the primer up real tight. Go for a quick testride making sure you run it hard from the start for a hundred yards or so, and then ease off the throttle, if the engine cuts out again, then you likely need to replace the plastic fuel...- Mopars-Only

CRD Oil requirement
Quaker State does make full synthetic 5W-40 motor oil, but it is rated CF/SM. The SM part is a great rating meant for gasoline engines, however, the CF rating is not as good as Shell or Mobil synthetics meant for diesel engines.
