    Since the coolant will be drained, you could do the water pump and thermostat since they’ll probably be damage and gunked up too. Might as well do it all now and put the proper coolant in.

    I’ll be pulling the cover to change fluid and check things out as soon as I can. Wouldn’t it make noise anytime I accelerate though, not just on turns? I’m hoping it’s nothing serious like that but I will check them out.

    Aren’t they usually loud while driving at all times though? I had kinda eliminated that as a possibility because it’s not always loud. But that’s a good idea, something I’ll definitely check out.

    Sorry, got busy with a project. I’ll try and check the fluid this weekend. Not sure on the trac loc. No idea if it’s the rear diff. It just sounds like the right rear is where the noise comes from and only happens on right turns.

    I’m having an issue with a coolant leak now as well. I need to pull the skid plate to look at it. I’m not sure where it’s leaking. It only leaks while running. I guess a pressure test is the first place to start.

    Ideas for bolt removal

    Cut them or hind the heads off. I had to. Make sure you have the new bolts in hand though before you cut them. The new bolts aren’t really cheap but not too bad. I got mine from the stealership.
