2005 KJ Cherokke shift delay problem at first start
Are we leaking fluid? Look AGAIN to rule this out. Check level AGAIN, it never hurts. If you changed the tran pan (you did not say you did), the newer pan may be deeper and require more MM on tran dip stick to be at same level. Just my 2 cents.- budget76

I hope you are using a factory original dip stick. Then yes, it is to be trusted for level, and hope the ****** is ok. Always use OEM ATF-4 fluid.- budget76

followup; depth and oil level. since the cheap general purpose dip stick touches the bottom of the oil pan, it does not reflect the level with reference to the pickup tube and filter, but reflects the pan base. So for crazy example, if the old pan measures at 70MM, a deep deep new pan which is...- budget76

Transmission fill level
I changed my liberty oil pan from stock factory to amazon pan WITH DRAIN PLUG. I use one of those multi purpose dip sticks, to measure. Concerned that new pan was deeper so the oil level gauge goes "lower" due to deeper pan. If you replace the pan, you will need add more tran fluid once done...- budget76

I have a home depot 40 volt electric saw. Use it after the tree is down for limbs and safety. Use gas for big big limbs and the tree.
