Just a noise...
I had though that if I removed the serpentine belt and ran the motor, the ac wouldn't be running therefore the noise should have been gone with the belt off and the engine running. I'm not sure which ones in the post I'm looking for. Sorry but could someone tell me which ones are most likely leaking, or maybe what to look for when inspecting the open diff for leaks? Where can that lubeguard be purchased? Someone recommended marvel mystery oil. Haven't ever used either product. Are they similar or does one not work very well? Proper Pressure
Line of chalk across tread of tire. Roll 4-5 revolutions. Look at chalk on tire. If center is work but sides are still chalky, too much air. Sides worn but center still chalky, too low psi. leaking front differential help
Bringing this thread back to life real quick. I have an 05 KJ 3.7 4x4 and I recently serviced the front diff (fluid, outer seals for CV axles) and replaced my CV axles. Aftermarket Exhaust
Reviving an old thread. Which magnaflow muffler is recommended? Is there a different in engine/exhaust systems between an 05 KJ 3.7 and an 05 WK 3.7? I'd like to put a magnaflow on both of them but not sure if the same part number would apply- 808inthe949

Diff leak
Funny you mention that I was just under it this afternoon replacing my rack and pinion bushings (one was basically non existent, just the metal spacer) and I felt the slop or play in my CV axles. Proper Pressure
Im more inclined to be concerned with tire wear vs. ride comfort. It is a lifted jeep after all I can't expect it to ride like an old crown Vic . I have the stock 17's. Running 15 psi offroad won't break the bead? Obviously It will be more likely with aggressive driving- 808inthe949

Still new here and not sure how to compose properly clearly lol. I do understand how you can't read minds and expect everyone to know certain things. Hey all, recently got new tires. Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus 245/70 on stock 17's. My KJ is close to stock weight (no skids or armor yet) and I weigh less than 200lbs. Regear because of weight or size?
I have a 05 KJ. I didn't know about the limit with the front diff I only knew you needed a new cover in the rear. If I were to buy the setup for a regear I'd prefer to do a 4.56 but I guess it's more complex than a 4.10. Any chance you have a link to what kind of fan you used?- 808inthe949

What's the cost difference between going to 4.10 or to 4.56? I know the diff cover can't handle the 4.56 so you need the JBA one. If it's not too terrible difference would it be smart to go to the 4.56?- 808inthe949
