Door Lock Fail
If the lock actuator in question still works when using the remote button then the problem is not the actuator. May be the single lock/unlock rocker switch in the driver's door that's bad. When you say it still works manually with the key, are you using the button on the remote or the physical key in the lock to unlock? I think they are not on individual fuses so if the other three still work with the remote or the internal rocker switch, it's probably that one lock mechanism...- desertdriver

That is good to know about no compression tool needed. I may tackle that replacement after all. Finding an honest shop is a struggle where I am. Thanks for all the suggestions! Don't have a roof rack, so it's not a wind noise. Was considering new tires because nothing else seemed to have changed to create that noise. Would have been a shame since they are only 20% worn. An out-of-the-box thinking mechanic suggested flipping the tires on...- desertdriver

I have only pumped gas once since I replaced it. Would not take that one event as proof that the burp problem is permanently fixed. I replaced the canister to take care of a long-standing Evap leak (which it didn't, lol). The possible positive effect on fuel burp was the mechanic's sales pitch...- desertdriver

Yes, this! Replaced that pump about 25,000 miles ago (2020) because of the mystery evap code situation and it solved it for about one year. Then the code started popping up again last fall. The original pump lasted 255,000 miles.- desertdriver
