Anyone using the OK locker in the rear?

I dont have it currently, but when I had my 93 Wrangler, I had test unit #3 in the front axle of my Wrangler. I LOVED it. let me tell you, that thing I swear could take a hit from a small nuke. It was SOLID, and the front diff cover I got with it would smash rocks no problem. Mine was the cable...

    2006 radiator crack

Ya, up in Phoenix. Took about 3 hours to swap out this morn. Went well but a leak at the upper hose connection. It's all in good shape, so loosened it and re-seated it. Washed it all down ( so I could tell if anything new is leaking ) and gonna let it cool then go out around the block a couple...

    2006 radiator crack

The radiators at autozone had horrible reviews, most saying they only last a year. Not sure if they one I got is the same branding? Has lifetime warrenty so you can get it replaced free though. Not a job I want to do every year though. If it comes to that... I'll go get a mopar.

    2006 radiator crack

Found a leak from a tiny crack, luckily today on a 4 day weekend and all the shops around me have one available. I do see though that the replacements have 5 plates dedicated to the transmission cooler line. Im not seeing if doing this is gonna require draining the transmission fluid? Anyone...

Whats a fair used price for a Trac Lok?

It's the reason the limited slip was dropped from 06 on, because the ESP was now the standard. Do a quick google search for jeep esp and there's a number of places that describe how it works. I was considering getting a locker (wasn't used to a jeep without one) but took my liberty to a...

Whats a fair used price for a Trac Lok?

If you have the ESP, it's already doing what the Trak-loc would do. Even if you turn it off in the snow, to let you accelerate more, the part that is equivalent to the Trak-loc is still functioning.

    3.7L Performance

I have a 2006, stock. My Daughters mom has a 2004 with K&N Air intake and a power chip plus 31" tires, from the previous owner. I wouldn't have done the K&N, but regardless... Her's definitely rumbles much deeper then min and can also chirp those 31" tires. I probably cant chirp the 29's cause...

    Sluggish KJ

This sounds more like the ESP system kicking in. If your going straight and punch it no problem, but if your turning and punch it, it ignores you to prevent a roll over.

    2006 Jeep Liberty A/C problem

Been a few weeks. Finally got a chance to go to another shop. Tested and replaced a for sure high pressure switch. Here's where I am at now. Seems this whole time what's possible is the blend door is not moving to AC air only fully. I recall a few weeks ago something that sounded like plastic...

    2006 Jeep Liberty A/C problem

Finally got a chance to turn on the air last night for a 40 minute commute. Worked the hole way home. Worked, but the temp varied quite a lot during the whole drive. Some cold some mediocre but never as hot as outside temp. I tried to pin down the mediocre to acceleration times, but it didn't...

    2006 Jeep Liberty A/C problem

Checked the drier, it is actually stamped 5/5/2014 so probably good there. Turned on the Jeep and AC and with just gauge attached showed 45 pounds. Put can o air and brought it up to 60. (90 degrees outside) Stayed cold for the 10 minutes it took to ran it and charge it, but I will see for real...

    2006 Jeep Liberty A/C problem

Im not sure if the dryer was changed with the compressor. It was the previous owner who changed the compressor about a year ago, although it looks brand new. Although for a 2006 everything under the hood looks very good and new so I can't tell. There's a series of 8 digit number labels stuck to...
