Finally after months of trying to figure out where the coolant was going. Following Tom's advise about bleeding the system (22 times), turned out to be a very simple thing I completely over looked. What did you do to your jeep today?
I did leave the plug loose from Sunday to till today. There was all kids of leak out the plug, and res level dropped too. Today took it and got it warm, then barely loosened the plug and all kids of smaller bubbles came out. So I just stood there and did it continuously. Still getting bubbles...- JeepWoman13

Still having issues with coolant going somewhere. Hoses have been changed and the reservoir. I've removed the bleeder plug many times every time until Thursday it gurgled when plug was removed. Thursday it actually kicked some out when I pulled the plug, thought I finally had it done. Topped it...- JeepWoman13

Loosing coolant
Supposed to warm up a little later today (0100 now) I'll pull that plug and see what happens. Went and pulled the plug cold, when I there was a big gurgle. Left it out for about 15 mins, looked and there was coolant right at the bottom of the threads. Put the plug back in and will see what happens.- JeepWoman13

Loosing coolant
Found a small leak on the one heater hose where the crimp is. So decided I would change them out along with the reservoir. Did all that and burped it using the funnel tool. Use my Stant tester it holds 16lbs with no problem. Pass floor is dry, no antifreeze smell anywhere, but still have to keep...- JeepWoman13

Found the leak. Leaking from the hose coming off the core where it's press fit to the metal line under the reservoir, which why I didn't see it at first. Going to order the Dorman one from Amazon. Dorman# 626-516 only $105. Was thinking on just running heater hose till I saw the res line ties...- JeepWoman13

It will drop within a days use. Water Pump is new, but not by me. The confusing part is that it holds 16 pressure when my Stant pressure gauge is hooked up. Both with engine cold or at temp. Did the hydro carbon test in the res, and nothing there either. Res is brand new and is it's cap that...- JeepWoman13

My 05 is driving me crazy. Unknown coolant vanishing. Pressure tested the system, held 16lbs for 45 mins. Next started her up with pressure attached to let her build, which she did with no problem. Has 150k on it. Might be me used to the AW4 in my old Cherokee but it seems to have a short stumble shifting from to second. Shift points are fine and no reving up while shifting.- JeepWoman13
