Looking for metal impeller water pump?
Good to hear that they aren't a 100k item. The last vehicle I owned with a composite pump was a '98 BMW 3-series, they were known for letting go around 100k (shaft spins but the impeller doesn't). Those old inline 6 aluminum heads didn't take much overheating to warp and pop the head gasket...- nullptr

What Bob said. This is normal for the KJ, but can be exasperated by several things. 1) A bad PCV will cause it to get worse and cause oil usage as well. Changed the oil and air filter. First oil change was at about 76k miles, currently sitting at 82.1k, so I put about 6k on the old oil. It was down half a quart, no signs of metal in the pan. The oil was pretty dark, but didn't seem any more viscous than fresh oil (cold engine) and smelled like...- nullptr

There may be some slight differences in wiring harnesses, especially if your adding power seats or heated seats to a vehicle that didn't have them previously, but otherwise it'll bolt right in.- nullptr

I imagine, my parents used to have a place on Manistique Lake in Curtis, Mi. Now they have property and park their travel trailer on it. Portable cabin? Had that exact problem in the UP. Thankfully there was a big enough gap between the larger trees to fit the KJ, so we went around it. Had to push over a few smaller trees though. :( Next time I'm up there, I'm going to keep an eye open for your KJ in town. I kind of want to say I may have saw...- nullptr

Howdy John! :happy160: I've seen a lot of KJs set up for just what your doing. When I was shopping for mine, pretty much every single CRD I looked at had a tow bar, or indications one had been installed, on it. Roughly half the gas ones did as well.- nullptr
