    bob, we still replace them with the same part numbers that they came with from factory. was just stating that there was an update in the middle of the model year of 05, witch are as followed. supposed to be a new design for that reason. sorry if i misled you. 03-04 and 05 up to 4-17-05...

    Re: YUPP i'm not sure how your local dealership would react to your painted calipers. legally i dont think they can deny your warranty. there has to be proof that you painting your calipers caused them to bind, and these do have problems.

    the only bulletin available for that is a rear brake moan tsb# 05-003-03 involves replacing rear rotors and pads, your calipers are the problem. work at a jeep dealership and replace them often. replace in pairs. are you still in warranty?

    rear liberty calipers hang up and bind causing premature pad wear. you need rear calipers, chrysler has a new design for these midway through 05 model year. still covered under 3/36 warranty.

    is it only happening just as you let off of the brake and accelerate? if it is, the greasing of the drive shaft should fix it.

    dont mean to upset you, but you may be doing the same thing that i did with my liberty, exact same prob. when you are hitting the brake you may be hitting the gas too.

    they should fit on aftermarket wheels also. just have to be careful not to break the module/transmitter when mounting tire on wheel.

    po303 is a cylinder #3 misfire, do see these from time to time. go to your local chrysler dealer and purchase a new set of ngk plugs and mopar combustion chamber cleaner, they should have tons of this in stock, with the engine at operating temps, remove your brake booster hose to the intake...

    they can be shut off so the chime won't sound, but there will be a tpm light on.

    i think what you're experiencing is only happening mostly when you back up first start up of the day, we see this often and have even had it on my own kj. the steel shims between the rear brake pads and caliper mount are worn. i've only seen them come in a factory non v-line(value line) rear...
