Advice: Subaru vs Jeep
I use the consumer reports alot, but one problem with them is that, they're rated for daily driving (and unfortunately, in the Libby's case, Mom driving). For instance, CG rated the Wrangler at 2/10. Sure, but the Wrangler isn't designed to be a comfy daily driver. It's designed for off-road use...- misterzero

Well, if money isn't too big of a problem, go for Rene 1. It'll have the skids on it and some lights, so you'll have a good start. The tow package isn't too much to add. In fact, you may be able to get the dealer to add the option onto it. If it were me (a college kid on a budget), I'd go with...- misterzero

College student as well. I hear your pain. Well, if you get a Jeep, spend the little bit extra and get a V6. Honestly, from what I've heard, the 4 cyl. doesn't really get that better gas mileage. N00b looking to buy - but concerned...
Well, there's your first problem. ;) I had a rear axle whine on my '05 Sport for about 500 or so miles before it magically disappeared. No problems with anything since. It wasn't a problem really...just an annoyance. :p- misterzero
