Should I buy a KJ?
I have pretty close to 160,000 miles on my 2003, I got it with 100k and I haven't had a problem with anything except the hatch latch, and the Parking brake. I only paid 3500 for it, though, and it's a 4x4.- Robocody

save money$$$ by brake rotors(discs)
You guys are correct that it takes away the ability to dissipate heat, but it does this gradually, and doesn't effect braking power until you are below the recommended minimum. It's a curve. That's what the minimum is there for.... It is the point at which the removal of metal actually effects...- Robocody

Towing damage?
It's mostly when Giving it gas slightly, say going 40-50, and accelerating slowly enough that the transmission doesn't shift down. And the only time it thumps is if I'm going between 5-10 miles an hour and punch the gas.- Robocody

Towing damage?
They won't tell me how they towed it, and keep on asking if it is a 4x4 or 2x4. I'm assuming that they either dragged it up onto a flatbed without dollies, or just towed with the rear wheels on the ground. Either way, I think I need to get a hold of them about the noises, and the whining...- Robocody

Hey all, Recently my jeep got towed because I parked in a reserved spot: I park there, they towed me, That's fine. My problem is that I left the transfer case in Full time 4, and now that I got my Jeep back, Whenever I accelerate quickly there is a thump from (I'm assuming) the transfer...- Robocody

Right, Right... If you don't have the proper tooks/know-how to pull a part... It is a better Idea to buy one new. If, however you know exactly what you are doing... you should be fine. Or you could go to a junkyard that pulls the part for you, in which case it has to be in working order, or...- Robocody

Sweet, Thanks... I did a quick search and saw that most of them have it, but When I got under there and hit all the joints and bushings with wd-40, It didn't go away, so I was worried. :eek: Glad to hear that I'm probably not doing any damage :D- Robocody

Front suspension noise.
Hey, Now that it's cold, I'm hearing some weird noises coming from the front of my Jeep. It sounds like I'm bottoming whenever I go over a bump, But I know I'm not. Kind of a squeaking noise. Your case hasn't been spoken at all... It has been driven into the ground. With several different sources I have proven Asian imports to be superior overall in reliability. The only domestics that come close are the ranger and the crown vic... and of course their mazda and mercury counterparts...- Robocody

Yeah, I do understand what you are saying, and I am making generalizations myself... but peugeot is a far cry from The larger companies such as GM and Toyota... It does hold true, however, that The Big Three are posting Much larger losses than any other auto companies.- Robocody
