How to Remove Battery?
on the cabin side of the battery (As opposed to the headlight side), at the bottom of the battery, right on the tray, is a 10mm hex screw that will release the piece pf plastic that is the only thing holding the bettery in place.- Gris

Stainless steel step bars......
Jeep likes putting little octogon holes in the frame. a "Nutzer" is shaped like an octogon to go into the hole, but the inside is threaded. So you stick it into the frame, then when you bolt whatever to it and it compresses the zert against the frame to make a nice, tight, anchor point.- Gris

Rear Diff - Draining Plug?
I got the Rock Lizard cover. IMHO, I can't imagine why someone WOULDN'T buy one. Just over $100 for an indestructible cover that offers both drain and fill holes. You can't beat it.- Gris

OTIS with Sunroof Control on eBay
Install went fine titan. The bracket is in my '02. It's the same bracket used to hold the normal map light. It did not come with the EVIC. The pigtail was included with about 6" of wire. I'm not sure how to overcome the lack of a bracket, but rumors were floating around that a floppy...- Gris

OTIS with Sunroof Control on eBay
more so than Older/newer it's about what it does. An OTIS is a display only model. an EVIC can actually control the computer to set various option. I just recently got my EVIC from an '02 Chrysler 300M from LKQ on eBay for $101- Gris

Mr. Clean Auto Dry

Removing the roof rails
It's not hard to do. The rail ends are 2 peices of plastic sandwiched together. pry them apart with a flat head screwdriver and it will expose the bolts underneath to remove the rails.- Gris

I haven't been able to figure it out. I read somewhere that you have to pry the cap off with the gear numers and then there is a screw under that to remove the whole knob. I spend a good half hour trying to get the cap off before I said screw it because I could no longer convince myself that...- Gris
