Pictures of Sound Systems
I can;t remember who's CarDomain site I found this on, but I plan on doing something very similar this summer. Wife and I go to the drive-in a few times every summer. We like sitting outside but the sound sucks. Figure if I do this, it would make some nice directional sound at our heads...- Gris

yup. drilled a couple holes through each so they line up with the holes in the frame where you mount the stock tow hooks. Then just bolt them up.- Gris

they're 1" (class II ?) arms with a 3.5 inch drop. The drop is what makes then come out the hole instead of cutting. I have a few more of those shackles if you are interested in em. PM me.- Gris

Very Weird Noise/Sound.....
I get the exact same thing! My wife look at each other funny because it sounds exactly like a fart. I've heard it driving, parked, turning and going strait. Kinda sounds like there is a springy efect in there too. like a boinging besides the normal farting.- Gris

Has anyone added reverse glow gauges?
I put them on mine almost 3 years ago and haven't had a problem with them. I wouldn't say it's easy to install them, but it's not hard. Hardest part is making sure you get the needles back in the correct locations after you are done. THis is the only picture I have that you can see them...- Gris

Problem with my EVIC
Make sure the 2 power wires are connected properly. The Pink one and the Blue/White one. Pink should be going to the data connector to the pink one there. Blue/White should be going to a switched power source. Just verify that they are connected well. Especially the pink one. Pink...- Gris

BluPhant, I tapped directly into the wires that fed it when it was in the front. Both sides light up when you open the doors and fade out when the doors close. Depressing either side turns that side on just like it was before. Exact same operation. Jeepster, If you look at my pic... -
Um....what's a Knee Blocker?
My '02 came with this crazy thing that had 2 huge metal prongs and 4 giant clips tha theld it in place. I had to use a freaking prybar to get it off. You should have heard the noise when that one finally popped. My wife's -06 had this nice one that only used 2 clips at the to and was hinged...- Gris

Running wire though firewall.
