Gas Mileage?!?!?!
I get between 16-18. The best I ever got was 20 mpg (just once) on a road trip. I just did a complete tune up including cleaning the injectors and throttle body, and no increase in mileage.- JC

Nope, still didn't get that one. That'll be a full day project, as the hitch is also welded slightly off and the hole doesn't quite line up, so I'm going to have to file it out just a bit.- JC

Not to ask a stupid question, but are you sure the welded nuts in the frame are clean of rust, etc? I ask because when I installed a hitch on my 2003 Lib, I also couldn't get the 12MM bolts to thread up. After several (unnecessary) trips to buy 10MM bolts, it turns out the nuts were severely...- JC

I tried the battery disconnect trick twice, with no luck. However, after giving up and letting it sit most of the afternoon I drove it again last night, and now it's seemed to have fixed itself again. Maybe some water got into the wrong place in the door panel or something. Or maybe it just...- JC

I'm driving down the highway today, and all of a sudden, my doors unlock, the courtesy lights come on, and the odometer indicator stats flashing "door". All the doors as well as the liftgate were closed. I've tried opening and shutting each door numerous times, I also disconnected the battery...- JC

Mine had NGK's also. Very worn out NGK's as a matter of fact. They were worn all the way to the insulator at 40k..- JC

I guess it's a little late for me now, but any preferences on brands or types? When I bought mine at the parts store, the guy rattled off what seemed like at least 10 options. I asked him what he recommended, and he emphatically said " I ALWAYS recommend Champion for Mopars!" So I asked him...- JC

I just changed mine last week. You have to take the air tube and the air resonator off first. Then you'll see the six coil packs sitting on the top of the engine, by the valve covers. Unplug the coil pack wire and then remove the 10 mm nut that holds the coil pack on. Pull the coil pack...- JC

Fuel filter/ tune up questions
Well I'm probably going to take the wrong approach here, but I think I'll blow off changing it for the present. I've got just over 40k , so I should be ok for now. I did wind up doing the plugs, fuel system cleaner, cleaned the throttle body and replaced the PCV valve. I pulled the plugs...- JC

So I decide today to go by the local parts house and do my first self tune up on the Lib. I get an air filer, plugs, throttle body cleaner, etc. I asked the guy for a fuel filter and PCV valve. He had to order the PCV (no big deal) but when he looked up the fuel filer, he gave me this odd...- JC

That's funny, because you'd think with the sheer number of dealers in the NYC area, you'd get better service due to competition. I guess it doesn't work that way.
