How long will a typical Jeep Liberty engine last?

207,000kms on mine, driving in Canehdian weather and roads. Nothing major yet, sensors, brakes, hoses...the usual so far. Pretty much the same as my 2001 Caravan, no problems with 293,000kms with no major breakdowns and was still going strong....that said, I maintain my vehicles well

    Building a Steel Front Bumper

Looks good but I think I would weld on a piece at each end at a 45degree angle or whatever it takes and have it partially cover the wheels...instead of just a straight bumper. Make sense?

    Jeep Liberty Future?

When my KJ dies I guess I'll just switch over to a pick up or something... I like the JK but there are so many around it's too hard to stand out from the crowd like my KJ does. Yes, I love the attention hahaha

Wheel Spacers, Rear Sway bar Removal.... Improve Handling ???

shut her up and tell her to get something else. I put wheel spacers on mine this summer and I feel no difference. suspension is a must but you might spend all that if she's not happy, which will most likely be the case if she has her mind set on something else...you just don't know about it yet...

or cut the existing wires, attach the new wires to the existing wires and pull at the other end...kinda like fish tape.

    Interesting fuel can mount system

I mounted mine with bungee cord across the hangers on each side of the rear seats. I barely see it in my rear view mirror. It's just a regular rectangular jeep style gas can

    Overhead Console

That one there is way too expensive. I paid about $30 each of the 2 I bought. The second I bought was just to upgrade.

    Nothing Wrong? What?

I'm gonna say connection at battery. I always check that first...the clamps shouldn't move AT ALL. If they are tight, sometimes just "re-seatting" them works.

    Bumper Scrape

that's a flesh wound.. lick it and and leave it or bring it to a body shop. Or get it LineX'd and never worry about scuffs again. Buff it out as much as you can to get rid of all the little scratches and touch up the rest and if you don't like it THEN go to a body shop, just a suggestion

    KJ Grille Guard Help

My KJ looks tough without a cheesy grill guard. Put some shackles in front or tow hooks like the guys mentioned. Don't do the floormat thing, it didn't work for me because me shoe laces kept getting hung up and I'd fall flat on my face getting out.
