    "The Sound of Liberty"

My rear doors are now speakerless. I put all my efforts in the fronts. The rears are really not needed unless you want it for people in the back seat. I have never heard the kickers so I can't give my opinion of them, but there are Brands out there that may be better. Diamond Audio(my favorite)...

Make sure the RCA cables are away from the Power wire. I ran my power wire on the drivers side and the RCA's on the passenger side. Also make sure you have a good ground connection.. If you think the box is a little big turn the woofer around so the basket is in the box. That will fill it a bit...

"How" do you listen to music?

Yup, you are correct. The gains are not volume knobs like alot of people think. Gains cranked up usually leads to distortion which could lead to blown speakers. In general I think if the gains are set in between 1/4 to 1/2 you should be ok.

"How" do you listen to music?

I run my Alpine Type X 12 in a .9 cu ft sealed box running 1000 watts RMS and I have my Diamond Audio D971 components bi-amped on a 4 channel amp pushing 100 watts RMS to each speaker. It gets very loud with no distortion and I don't ever drown out my highs even when the sub is hitting 135 dB...

Whats a good after market speaker for the doors?

They are 6.5's and if you get them from crutchfield you can get the adapters so there will be no extra drilling on your part. The Alpine type R or Type X are nice. I myself run Diamond Audio, these are very nice as well.
