I have a ground distribution block, so the amp and cap are grounded to the same location. I have the 160 Amp alternator and a yellow top optima battery and once in a while the lights will dim a little bit when the bass is up loud. I am in the process of upgrading the power wire from the...
The speakers in the back gate is not mine if thats what your thinking. I have a Termlab usb meter, but my buddy has one that goes up to 150 dB from splmeter.com. It's $150 bucks. He said his reads about 3 dB higher than the termlab.
My rear doors are now speakerless. I put all my efforts in the fronts. The rears are really not needed unless you want it for people in the back seat. I have never heard the kickers so I can't give my opinion of them, but there are Brands out there that may be better. Diamond Audio(my favorite)...
Make sure the RCA cables are away from the Power wire. I ran my power wire on the drivers side and the RCA's on the passenger side. Also make sure you have a good ground connection.. If you think the box is a little big turn the woofer around so the basket is in the box. That will fill it a bit...

I run my Alpine Type X 12 in a .9 cu ft sealed box running 1000 watts RMS

man, you have a lot of time tied up in this one. But planning it out and doing it right the first time is the best way to go. I will check back on your progress later. awsome work.
keep an eye on the polished tip. I have the cat back set up and I am having it replaced for the 3rd time now due to it pitting and discoloring. Magna flow is looking into why this is happening. The first one went bad in a few months. The second one lasted 4 weeks. This is strange as I keep it...
It really is an addiction. There is a ton you can do with audio in the liberty, yes you can mount a component tweeter in the dash. I am waiting for my cargo rack from all j product to reclaim some cargo space. Take a look at the car stereo link in my sig to check out what I did.
They are 6.5's and if you get them from crutchfield you can get the adapters so there will be no extra drilling on your part. The Alpine type R or Type X are nice. I myself run Diamond Audio, these are very nice as well.
