Cig lighter GPS plug in base?
Okay, now I've seen some units for the IPOD that mount and plug into the cig-lighter for power and support mounting, so you don't have to run a cord or mount to the windsheild. And I feel down, out of the way on our lighter-jacks would also be a good place to keep out of sight and the sun...- Trodo

Feds Expand Jeep Liberty Probe
I had mine replaced at 16k. The dealership mechanic said it would make a klunking noise, then it needs to be replaced. But you should still take it to the dealership to have them look at it. Specifically, a 5 star dealership.- Trodo

Rid the under carriage mud
The last time I went sluggin' through the mud, I parked over the a sprinlker system I put together, with a hose attachment and two circular sprinkler heads. Got 80%, the rest I was doing by hand. Just park on the grass for awhile.- Trodo

I recently got a star chip/hit/crack, and had it repaired for $40. I can still sort of see it. The guy quoted me $180 for a new windsheild. Are you talking about those chips they sell on Ebay. If so, don't bother, they claim to make the computer re-think that it's getting a cooler charge of air, and thus, better power curve. After about 100 miles, the computer recalibrates itself and the chip becomes useless. Instead, buy the...- Trodo

Tranny shop wants to put in "ATF3 + additive"
I feel that repair shop is lying to you. I remember reading somewhere if you put anything other than ATF4, you'll void the warranty for the transmission.- Trodo

Gas Tank Skid Question
Same here, same bolts for the tow, and skid, get a friend to help install, it can be a pain to get it past the exhaust pipe, while holding up the skid and the tow hitch all at once.- Trodo
