i had both side by side and used a tape and they were different as well as quite noticably different....even the remand was a tad different from the stock that was in there d/t wear and miles of compression
side note if anyone replaces that bearing/plastic bushing id recommend using the metal...
imo if you are far enough to have the cv out you might as well replace the int. shaft or at least have one on hand...same for the seals and replace that plastic 'bearing' with a metal needle bearing. Some people say they are a huge PITA but they didnt give me any problems, plus that plastic...
i just put in a napa reman the other day after recieving the wrong "new" passenger cv.....remand was noticably better and much cheaper....and correct length
its a rubber bushing after 03 but can be replaced with the metal bearing...and what they show is the passenger and driver seals and bearings , they way they make the diagram seems like its an inner seal and bearing but its actualy representing the driver side. I got confused on that too at first
oops sorry, should have read your sig. Even at around 4 inch lift ive never had trouble with the break lines even when fully flexed , although i plan on the extended ss ones just because theyre nice

here starting at page 149 , only the outter axle seals driver and passenger side, no inner seals like a full length solid axle
no you remove and install from the outside , passenger is the same its just recessed a few inches , i used a seal puller/pick like the one mentioned above....the factory service manual calls for a special tool that is basically a slide hammer
Index of /manuals/Jeep/KJ
there is the facotry...
there are inner and outer axle seals 566066AA is the mopar number , and AB for the bearing behind the outter axle seals...i also have an 07 and they use a plastic bearing/bushing back there that id reccomend replacing with the crown 0566066AB metal bearing...
sprayed all the salt and road grime off and felt helpless when i saw some rust spots coming in again....need to get under there and undercoat again its buggin me. Really needs a good wash/claybar/wax after this winter , also changed the oil and front diff oil
turns out my passenger side JBA UCA ball joint was loose, needed to put a washer there to tighten it up...it was torqued to spec with coder pin and never has given me problems til now.....still dont know how the noise/feeling i was getting was coming from that but ever since it was fixed no more...
not all 07s , just like the PCV valves are set up differently in later 07s.. same as KKs setup...gaint pain for me to change because of the massive wad of wires all taped up sitting on top of it
