BlckKJ greets Compass
We have just got the Dodge Caliber over here... Its the same car ain't it?? The top spec currently is nothing what you describe for the Jeep... The dealers are currently discounting new KJ's by £4500 ($8000?)... wonder if they are worried the Compass will hit KJ sales and they don't...- UKKJ

I know in the US the L means Litre (Liter!) In the uk, we don't do the suffix thang... just 1.6, 2.3 etc.. A 1.6L would be the poverty spec model of a car here.. I have posted this before... the models go up from L.. eg Ford.. Low to High #-o L, LX, GL, GLX, GLS, SPORT, GHIA, ST, RS...- UKKJ

Looked after the KJ a little today...give it some attention...make it feel wanted!! O:) Removed Cherokee Door Badges.... ITS A LIBERTY!! ....and the L from 3.7L! (Its a UK thing.. L means Low Spec!!) Wash and chamoised it... NO POLISH!!! It does go off road...honest!!! You can see...- UKKJ

Thanks Trodo.. I think the caliper condition is down to 2 british winters and american corrosion prevention i am afraid.. May give them a spruce up! (It was only serviced 1500miles ago and it has only done 17k) Early Cherokees suffer real bad underneath over here, i have waxoyled mine...- UKKJ

£280 15000 mile service at UK stealership
Hi guys... Just had my KJ serviced, £280 and now they want (at least) another £390 now for front and rear pads! The front discs are warped after 7500 miles, which they will skim under warranty (they wont replace any more). if they decide the discs are too thin to skim, they will class it as...- UKKJ

Back in the olden days I raced... Mongoose (Supergoose!) Kuwahara Diamond Back PK Ripper GT ....They were too much like hard work..I find the 4 cylinder engine much easier to get places now. First real day of commuting on the Fazer today, weather here is still dodgy...rain/snow...- UKKJ

Well guys all fitted! It did cost me an extra £100 as the spare did fit, nice and cosy Fouros as you said First impressions: Dry pavement grip is already up, without pushing it yet.. (scrub in time) The white letters are a bit blingy...not sure about them yet Road noise is up, not too...- UKKJ
