I have an 02/03 engine I'm rebuilding. It runs but has a broken valve spring. I'll be installing new bearings, rings, pistons, timing chains, lifters, etc. Should be completed by end of this week. Or are you looking for a used one?- keeponjeepin

Placed a rebuilt engine (3.7) in an 02 KJ 2wd and it fired right up. Ran great, put couple hundred miles on it then DTC said intermittent loss of Crank & Cam senors. headlights not working and......
It's not the multi-function switch, it's the BCM located on the backside of the fuse box - under drivers side of dash. It may need to be re-flashed. You maybe able to swap one with the same year/trim package. Chrysler gets $600-800 for new ones without the flash.- keeponjeepin

I can think of many potential causes. I think a compression check is the first place to start. You should have at least 120psi per cylinder - 180 is ideal. If that all checks then test 1 thing a time. If compression is bad in a cylinder stop and look to replace the head. I wouldn't attempt...- keeponjeepin
