Any drawbacks to 2.5" coil lift?

Maybe if you put that truspeed thing by superlift on it would help with the esp problem. Then the computer would know how fast the wheels are really going. I know that your abs needs to know the correct info on wheel velocities. As far as the ESP, does it only account for wheel speed or did...

anyone know how much higher a Frankenlift is than Rusty's??

I heard that Frankenlift uses spacers. Anyone ever add spacers to a rusty's? I assume with a frankenlift you have to get an allJ upper arm or you will wack your balljoints. I have also heard of some Frankenlift folks tearing up their CV boots as well. Just curious.

    Hey, check out these shoes

Hi folks, I was gonna put some 15x8 cragers on with some 31x10.5 bfg k/o but when I test fit the rims I had less that an 1/8'' of clearence from the calipers. Too close for me. Plus I chickened out on the fender mods I would have for the 31's cause of how wide they are and the backspace I...

    Stock height suspension

I wouldn't do oem. The stock stuff sucks. Keep it low if you want but go with aftermarket for a better ride. I, like you, waited till the OEM's were worn out. I wish I had put a lift on mine years ago. It rides so much better with the higher spring rate. I think the stocks are too soft for...

best lift kit for the money?

I'd get a rusty's 2.5 with the OME rear shock. It's fifty bucks more. Rusty's shock sucks. You can put it on yourself it is not that hard. Save 300 bucks for new skins or skid plates. Take the old struts to a mech and for about 50 bucks he will compress the old ones take em apart and...

    2006 Jeep Liberty

Try another dealer(prefferably a five star). If they blow you off then I would take it to a private garage. Tell them the problem and ask for them to take a look and give you a quote you can take to the stealership and bitch. If they are cool like they guy I go to for stuff that is beyond...

Man, that is a sweet looking jeep!!! I wish they would put out a modernized XJ like the one Marlon posted there. I would buy that in a flash. That thing looks awsome. I still have my old 85' Cherokee Chief in storage. Some day I am going to pull that baby out redo the body, engine, tanny...

2" Lift w/ no new shocks???

When I got my ome lift from rustys I had them substitute their shocks for the ome rears N132 that they have. Cost 50 bucks more. Rustys are the standard size which will work. All J has the long travel version, N132L, for 84 bucks. You can get rustys kit without the rears and get the long...

Hi Guys and Gals, I have been looking around at brush/bull bars. What type do you like? Good or bad experiences? I was looking at a ARB but the expenses and weight are a concern for me. I didn't get the HD coil for my lift. What is the best bang for my buck in a bull/brush bar? Which...

    Help from RRO slider owners?????

oops I edited it. I meant 05-06. How far does the front bracket on yours go down to the mounting holes? Mine is about a 1/2 from the bracket. I can't gkeep it level if I move it down to where I can drill. It tilts the whole slider up toward the body. I need to pull it down 3/4'' to 1 ''...
