    compressor wasn't kicking on, I turned it off for around 45 min. Came back outside and now it's fine. haven't had a problem with it again (crosses fingers) I'm still going to take er in anyways to get it checked out to make sure there is no problem.

    actually the tires really don't have any effect on lightning. It's the metal frame that protects the people inside the car, but that still doesn't guarantee that the lightning will go through the windows and what not. the couple of miles it has to travel to the ground is much more resistant...
