my first post, v6 to l4 swap
x 1000 I have an export 2.4L with 4.10s and the 6 speed manual. Unless you have the 6-speed (opposed to the 5-speed) AND the 4.10 gearing, you are doomed. I recently swapped to BFG A/T 245/75/16 and the EVIC reads an average of 14L/100km consumption and I'm always thinking on fuel...- m_volyrakis

2.4 L DD from 4.11 to 4.56 good idea?
My '05 2.4 6 spreed export daily driver came stock with 4.11s. As you all know 2.4 was not the best option as far as KJ engines are concerned.:disgust: But this is what I have to work with and changing it is not an option. How do I remove the trim below the windshield?
You first need to remove the A-pillars (use a 5.5mm deep socket) then pry it open with sthg that is not sharp. It has 5-6 clips holding it down. Finding the right socket is the difficult part of the procedure.- m_volyrakis

Renegade Light Bar on E-bay
If your rig came prewired you will need a lightbar switch the cable that runs through the roof down the driver's A-pillar and some nutzerts. Used it twice so far, first was a test run, pulling my self a few times to see how things work and second was a rescue of a pick up truck that had fallen in a drainage ditch under heavy rain.
