I have an export 2.4L with 4.10s and the 6 speed manual.
Unless you have the 6-speed (opposed to the 5-speed) AND the 4.10 gearing, you are doomed.

You first need to remove the A-pillars (use a 5.5mm deep socket) then pry it open with sthg that is not sharp. It has 5-6 clips holding it down.
Finding the right socket is the difficult part of the procedure.
If your rig came prewired you will need a lightbar switch the cable that runs through the roof down the driver's A-pillar and some nutzerts. Google "Renegade lightbar pdf" and have a look at the installation manual.
