That is what my mechanic told me and what he think. Since I can get the hub for cheap I'm gonna change it all by myself, now just have to find somewhere to work XD
Thx tjkj
You lucky jeeper :( the system piss me off a lot and I would like to be able to take it off but keep the traction control so I know my wife is safe when she use the jeep in icing condition...But seems they come together
So it's this time of the year! time to change the wheel hub and ABS sensor after I got the ESP / ABS light on. Hopefully a friend of mine work for peterbuilt and ca have me the part for cheap ( if not for him the part would cost over 300$ here ) I also figured it was a pretty easu fix, the...
I use trico Force and in the hard condition from quebec they last near 2 year with no care at all. I pull on them very often when they are frozen and they still work like a charm. They are also less expensive than the bosch.
Cherokee use halogen as it was stated previously and note that the section using led is flat on the surface unlike the headlight of the libby where snow could pile in the light hole. Same problem could occur on the driving light of the cherokee. Also pretty sure that if some use led only light...
Personally I wouldn't run LED light over here in winter. I don't know about the weather in michigan but remember LED make no heat, so snow could pile up and block them. That's a issue we had here when they started to replace street light and traffic light with LED.
Add the same issue few week after lift, turned out sway bar bushing went out, rear upper control arm bushing went out also not long after, got them replaced this friday.
Bed lined my front grill and painted the front sway bar. I like the look of the bed liner so next summer after buying my house ( with a garage ) I will do all the plastic trim with it :) Painting the sway bar went well, got a hard time re-installing it but it finally went back in place and it...
not talking about painting the bushing. If you paint the sway bar with mat finish paint, it will be rash inside the bushing unlike the smooth of a glossy finish, aren't you worry about premature wear of the bushing?
So, after 8 years and quite some kilometers, my sway bar paint is brushed around the area cover by the bushing. Two or three coat of paint should do the trick and help secure the sway bar back in the bushing so it wont move in it. New bushing fixed the problem about 80% and the rest of the play...
Fueled him up after all the offroad and got 11.09L/100 KM which is 21.2 MPG. nice improvement over my 15.3 usual average, and I am not done with him. Still have the trans fluid to get flush. Pretty glad he can do this in the wood. Can't imagine what I will be able to pull from him on my next...
Gave him a little drive to the fishing camp, 200km of road plus 50km of wood. Most of it on dust and rock road from the wood cutting company the rest is mud and rock :) he liked it and I did to! Now, time to wash him this weekend XD
If you don't have a pump or something stay with smaller bottle. you can fit a nozzle on them which make it easier. I did it 2 day ago and that's what I did, went perfectly fine.
Look at the CV axles boots. They can dry and wear. Seems like a pertty common issue and is easy to figure out. If you see a leak or find an opening in the boots, change the CV axle. they are not that expensive.
