I have no suggestions because I haven't changed mine...yet. I intend to eventually. And I like you am more interested in road handling than getting more ground clearance and installing bigger tires. There are many others here with experience with these companies who should be able to chime in...

Eaton Truetrac install Bolts dont fit

Did you get the bolts from Eaton? If not you could be voiding your warranty and/or covering up a manufacturer defect they would like to know about.

    What is causing this?

Good reason to stop running it and get it fixed before it breaks and instantly gets more expensive.

Not going to start a spark plug thread

I screwed up that last comment - Should have said "Still, all the major manufacturers say not to put anything on the threads of sparkplugs." I have seen snug plus 1/4 to 1/2 to 2/3 turn depending on the manufacturer. The NGK plugs I have for my Liberty say 1/16 turn past snug for tapered seat...

    Outer Banks Fishing Mods

Just my $.02 The suspension components of our beloved Liberty are poorly made and sagged out (esp springs and shocks) and replacing them gives a much better ride. But I have yet to see any 4 wheeled vehicle gain road handling prowess by RAISING the center of gravity. So if road handling and...

I want to personally thank HoosierJeeper for starting this "Not going to start a spark plug Thread". ;)

Not going to start a spark plug thread

The beauty of snug then 1/4 turn (or whatever they say) is that it's unaffected by anti-seize. It is based on thread thickness which doesn't change with anything on the threads. Only works on new gasketed plugs however. Still, all the major manufacturers say not to.

I think the base model only had one light. See at the top under the heading on the wire diagram I posted?

Not going to start a spark plug thread

I have got to say that I have changed MANY plugs in my life and always used brand names. Never ever had a problem.

Not going to start a spark plug thread

Ole Tomwetdirt got it right. I would never ever use a air ratchet on a spark plug. Even though it goes slow you just don't have the feel. And as for anti-seize, it's one of those few areas where the major manufacturers agree. Another reason to stick with good parts: From AC Delco: Quote: Do...

I am sure you can. The only thing above the headliner are those plastic tabs which are 3/8" thick and could be ground thinner if needed.

Ok your post made me curious. I took both lights completely out. BOTH lights have both the numbers that you listed molded into them: The Rear-5JG58BD1AD number on one end and the Cargo - 1BC77BD1AA number on the other end. They are identical inside and out and look like they came out of the...
