8.25" Ring gear question
Looking into a possible engine/trans swap next winter, and I want to know all my options for the rear diff. ETA- the ratio I want isn't available in 29 spline- Joenavy85

Never had this happen, but I had an occurance where I had a slow leak on the filter. Checked the level one day and eek2.gif. looked around everything and noticed a thin streak on the bottom side of the filter where the slow leak was basically leaving deposits.- Joenavy85

05 3.7l Sport 2WD, 179k, first water pump at 106k, second water pump (done at pep boys) at 150k. Radiator at 151k (I think pep boys used to wrong coolant and didn't flush the old stuff). U-Joints at 162k. Output speed sensor at 174k. Lower ball joints, upper control arms and tie rods at 178k...- Joenavy85

What did you do to your jeep today?
I got the TC to lock for the first time since December. In November my output speed sensor died, when I pulled the old one out there was some plastic missing from the tip. Early January I was able to drop the pan and change the filter and fluid. Refilled it and added a bottle of Lucas treatment...- Joenavy85

8.25" Ring gear question
Do all 8.25" ring gears have the same bolt pattern? ie, I want to change the gearing on my '05 (29 spline) with a ring and pinion set thats listed as being for a 27 spline. I know the yoke needs to change due to the splines on the "new" pinion, but can I bolt the "27 spline" ring gear to the 29...- Joenavy85
