One thing I just noted I've lost some oil. On the x patterned side it has lost maybe 10% so ~1/10 a qt. I've never burned oil or lost oil it's always been right on the full line. Nothing milky in the oil either. Could it be the head gasket? Mk- mk_v

I haven't come to that conclusion. That was just a what if. I checked the resistance on the injectors and there wasn't a outlier in resistance. I ran it for a while yesterday and ended up getting the mult misfires after about 2 hours. Mk- mk_v

So if it were timing Id probably have to take it to a mechanic it sounds like. Have you used the mmo before? Is there anything that may be better? Thanks Mk- mk_v

Wouldn't that cause a rough idle? If not how do you check that? I've heard the camshaft sensor could be the problem. Mk- mk_v

I've never heard of the marvel mystery, is it pretty good? I have only ran ethanol free gas since I got it, with 44k miles. The marvel mystery is it supposed to clean and lubricate the injectors? I'm probably not going to get a chance to work on it until next weekend. My plan was to check the...- mk_v

05 Liberty Renegade Misfire
Well the misfire on cylinder 6 is back. I was just warming up the jeep and when I got in the engine light was on. Changed coil packs at 76k now at 82k now. It isn't idling rough, cleared the code to see if it came up again and it hasn't. No smoke or leaking coolant so I don't think it should be...- mk_v

Be Warned - Very Poor Customer Service
Good info to know they don't help out their customers, especially long time customers. To me that's wrong. I won't ever buy or recommend them again. Sucks they won't do what would clearly be the right thing to do, shows what kind of company they really are. Mk -

Hose connection ?

Hose connection ?
Thank you for the quick reply, I couldn't find any threads where it was supposed to go on but I ended up wedging it between a the hoses and the battery. There are some holes that look like grommets go into, is that what I'm looking for? Thanks Mk- mk_v

Hose connection ?
I was changing the battery and noticed I have a hose dangling, does anyone know where this hose connects to. I attached a picture it's the hose with the plastic ring looks like it's supposed to be attached to a line. Anyone know? Thanks! Mk- mk_v

When the took it off there wasn't any movement. The alternator is getting hot with the hood open. Not burning but a uncomfortable to touch hot. When I took it off and moved it there wasn't any rattle inside. I'm going to be getting the one from the dealer on Tuesday they have it coming. I also...- mk_v

Rattle sound from alternator
My sound seems to go down a little after warmed up but still rattles about every 5-20 seconds. And it's squeals when I shut it off. Which I know is a new symptom from this weekend. The clicking I may not have noticed if it was there but couldn't have been more than a couple weeks. I'm thinking...- mk_v

Rattle sound from alternator
I tried to get one today but Napa and autozone didn't have any. I did take the alternator off and the pulley is moving freely when I turn it And I feel pretty confident thinking it's the alternator rattling because when it's running I can feel it when I put my had on the outside of the casing...- mk_v
