Mine does that too. Ive been able to get it sitting more flush by taking it off a reseating it, but I have two switches on that bezel that tend to push it up slightly.
Thanks for the tip. I was wondering which brand to get. I nearly pulled the trigger on a mevotech model, but thought id wait to see if I got any advice on here. Cheers!
Edit; are these spark plugs ok to get?: More Information for NGK 6441
Edit 2: Is the Moog rear upper trilink ok to get as...
Got it back from the shop with new rear moog problem solver control arms and a front pinion seal. Its driving much better now, no more wobble! The mechanic did notice that the ball joint in the rear upper tri link is worn out. He showed me when it was up on the hoist; the whole diff slides loose...
Yea heaps of kangaroos, wallabies, wild pigs and cattle, with the odd brumby thrown in. You've always gotta be looking out for them. The corrugations are the worst part. They just shake the absolute sh** out of the whole vehicle! Yes, those vents would be extremely useful for me. It seems quite...
It was a hot day, probably 35+ degrees Celsius (95F).
I was driving on the main road through Cape York called the PDR (Peninsular Development Road) which is a heavily corrugated dirt road (with sporadic patches of bitumen) sucking in a lot of dust down the snorkel.
Heres a pic of what the...
What problems could arise from over heating these Jeeps? Mine overheated about 12 months ago (driving on a beach, sitting in 3rd gear). My electric fan stopped working (I didnt know it at the time) and the temp gauge went into the red. Pulled over immediately and let it cool down. I have the HD...

The worst part is I need my vehicle this weekend to drive to the airport (4 hours away) to get to a mates wedding. Looks like im gonna have to beg, borrow or steal something to get there!
I bought the Mopar 52070339AC seal. It doesn't specify on the rockauto site that it is for the rear. I did a google search of that part number and went to the mopar website. Its not until then that it says its for the rear.
Should of just bought the Timkin front seal like I was going to. :(
Took it to the shop to do the rear control arms and front pinion seal. They just called me and said rockauto have sent me the wrong seal; they sent the rear seal not the front seal. I guess I should have triple checked that it fits. So now its gonna have to sit there until the right one arrives...
Im too tall to sleep in the back with the seats down, so I roll my swag out under my side awning. I have taken a nap with the front seat fully reclined when I was really hung over and had to drive the 4 hours to get home. Slept beside the road under a tree for an hour before moving again.
I drive on dusty roads fairly often and as a result my windscreen washers are almost completely blocked. The water just dribbles out. Does anyone know an easy way to unclog these? Thanks
4WD Full Time is very useful for me when driving on slippery, corrugated dirt roads. It has saved me more than a few times from spinning off the road. I actually came off the road about 2yrs ago (about a month after purchasing my Jeep) driving on a slippery dirt road. I came around a bend too...
Yea, we spent 3 nights at this site. There are lots of great places if you know where to look. This one took us 7 hours to get to, so it was a bit of a trek. The river we camped by was full of fish. We were spearing Barramundi with a hand spear and a spotlight at night. Who needs a fishing rod...
