What did you do to your jeep today?
Yea thanks. Its a pretty shallow water crossing that ive done many times. Its tidal though so the depth and flow changes all the time. After rain its quite hard to see the concrete below because the water becomes murky. Veering off the side will see you plunge into deep (crocodile) waters. :help:- Damotee

ABS light intermittently on. Do I bleed Brakes?
Could be the rear wheel sensor starting to fail. Mine did this until I replaced it. Very simple job.- Damotee

What did you do to your jeep today?
Went camping with my Jeep and some mates. It was a great trip with plenty of mud crabs for dinner. The corrugations were pretty nasty at times. I noticed when i got home that one side of the mounts for the e-fan had sheared off and the fan was hanging on by the remaining bolt, leaning...- Damotee

2005 KJ 3.7 Rene with poor MPG
Hmm interesting. I just know i get better fuel economy using the richer fuel. My Jeep carries a bit of extra weight though (bullbar, winch, skid plates, lift, roof rack etc) so maybe its good for heavier vehicles.- Damotee

05 3.7 overheating in stop-and-go traffic
It sounds like your e-fan isnt working on its own unless you force it to work by turning on the a/c. I reckon you need a new fan. Theyre a piece of cake to install.- Damotee

2005 KJ 3.7 Rene with poor MPG
Id start with a new air filter. Regarding the fuel, in Australia we generally have 4 types of petrol; E10 (contains 10% Ethanol and is the cheapest), 91 Octane, 95 Octane and 98 Octane. Where I live the best i can get is 95 Octane so thats what i normally use, but when i go to the big smoke for...- Damotee

What did you do to your jeep today?
I replaced the front pads and rotors and cleaned up the calipers. One slide pin was stuck but ot moves more freely now. I think ill get a hardware kit for it and replace the slides and boots. Unfortunately, i was a little careless when reassembling it all and the ABS sensor on the front right...- Damotee

05 3.7 overheating in stop-and-go traffic
My Jeep would do something similar last year. The fault for me was with the electric fan. It wasnt working. I have the HD Cooling system as well though, which allowed me to keep driving it with no e-fan. So, driving with the A/C on would cause the temp to rise because the e-fan wasnt doing its...- Damotee

Are JBA UCA's as necessary as Marlin Gehman makes them sound?
I was running the stock UCA's with my lifted Jeep. The stock ones perished quite quickly with the ball joint boot tearing and the arm itself rubbing on the coil spring. The JBA arms are quite pricey, but worth it if lifted.- Damotee

Fix for the notorious KJ handbrake lever problem...
Mine only holds if I press my foot on the brake pedal and then pull up the E-Brake. Its next to useless, otherwise.- Damotee
