    Installed external voltage regulator. Now trying to figure why the AC won't engage. And the rad fan intermittently works. Though runs fine if I jiggle the relay 3 times....any relay in that socket does it, this is happening simply to vex me.

    Lbjs done! No cutting or grinding, though I needed a cheater on my cheater. Smooth and silent, doesn't track left or right, and no clunking at stops. Much safer at 75 now, great when everyone's doing 85 up the highway

    So far haven't had to grind or cut anything, and some of what I'm replacing has been done before, but I've had it for over 100k now, and what was once new is worn. Gotta pay a visit to the pawn shop to cover tool rental today. Good thing is after this I'm done for a while. Checklist has shrunk...

    Prepping lower ball joints, got it all apart, when the wife came back had to fix her car (#-$-$ Hyundai) too broke for the puller rental now ($140wtf) with my front end all apart. Well sh*".This month I've done hubs, rotors, pads, UCA ball joints, rear boomerang, sway bar bushings and end links...

    Also noticed when I was replacing my hubs last week they have the splines for 4wd, but adding that seems not worth it to me. Besides i haven't needed it yet anyway.

There is comfort in that I can outrun pretty much every other Jeep, learned that on 116 with it's wonderful 75mph speed limit (which means traffic's doing 85).     So, I've had my Lib for a few years, driven in nearly every weather. Been through hub deep mud, steep inclines, caliche (nasty stuff) ranch trails, and I've never gotten fully stuck. Either a little rocking to get rolling, or 2by4s under the wheel at worst. So what I want to know is why...

    Front pads and rotors done, pads were free (AutoZone's gold lifetime). May not be the best, but since I replace every year, not bad. Also learned the 'clangclangclang' of the ESP is a lot more noticeable on steel wheels.

    Managed to lose tread blocks somehow... On a totally unrelated note, the liberty's physics get interesting once you hit 85. Concerning at 100. Terrifying at 108. Also, I'm a new member again?
