2 JK's off road...

I did a comparison between the Silverstar's and the stock bulbs on the JK.... Stock Silverstar Stock Silverstar Not a HUGE difference, but you can really tell when you drive a different vehicle how much brighter they are.- 06Liberty

Air Filters
Phil, to answer your question...no, they are not the same for the 2.4 & 3.7. I've been searching for filters for each of the 2 engines and every one I find, the part numbers are different for the 3.7 & 2.4.- 06Liberty

2006 2wd wheel question
Assuming you have the 225/75R16 ST's, an 8" wide rim would be stretching those narrow tires pretty far. It might be ok, but it'll probably look a little funny.- 06Liberty

I've already checked the availability here in AL for OIIIIOJK (for my JK), and OIIIIOKJ (for the KJ, of course)...and both are available, along with other variations of the same thing. And, I plan on getting it in March when it's time to renew. Thanks for the idea, Absolute!- 06Liberty

I've got one also on the wife's KJ....have no idea how it got there (and supposedly neither does she). It's about 6" long, and looks to be down to the primer at least....you can feel it really easily. Already tried ScratchX twice to no avail.....just staying tuned to see if someone thinks of a...- 06Liberty

Why do we keep having to re-visit this debate? tjkj2002, you are about the ONLY one I've known who swears that ABS is 100% a BAD thing. 2003 Limited no ABS???
ABS was an option until the '06 model year, then ABS and ESP/Traction Control became standard equipment. My mother's '05 Limited doesn't have it either, and she slid off the road when she hit the brakes in the rain because of it. If she had the ABS, it wouldn't have happened. Get ready...- 06Liberty

Has the dealer been "able to replicate the problem" you mentioned? Even though it doesn't throw a code, I would hope that they would want to try and help figure out what it is (providing they experience it for themselves). I guess that all depends on the dealer though. I've never noticed ours...- 06Liberty

And here's my JK AFTER all the fun was about over.....sorry no pics of the action. BTW, I only saw ONE other JK out there...a black Unlimited Rubicon. I ALMOST got hit by a guy that I passed on a mud road....we were passing right beside each other and his TJ started sliding towards mine... -

Some friends of ours were going to Gray Rock ORV today and asked us to come along...only thing is, they're in a custom built rock crawling monstrosity of a buggy with 44 in. tires, 4 wheel steer, and a 502 Chevy V8! Obviously we didn't follow them too many places, but we did manage to get dirty... -
