yeah thats what I thought..... many have towed heavier loads than 5000# with the CRD and one guy on LOST still got 19MPG towing over 5000 pounds! So towing is one thing the CRD is better for than a Gasser:D- mikey1273

how do you figure higher maintance cost? I change my own oil and it don't cost me any more than it would for a gasser to use the same quality oils other than mine may take a quart more of it. I have not ever driven a 3.7L Liberty and not sure I care to at this point. heated mirrors
yeah you can have heated mirrors. My Limited has them..... they are engaged when you turn on the rear window defroster. in Pennsylvania they are very nice to have in the winter.- mikey1273

CRD Problem
MIne did the same thing about a month or two ago. I was driving and lost power between traffic lights and then it just got worse. I pulled off to a car park and the engine was running like not all cylinders were firing. I turned it off checked the fuel primer which was firm, looked for leaks...- mikey1273

do you have a Cell phone with a camera built in? My insurance agent tipped me off to this as a good tool in collecting info at an accident. since you are likely to have it on you use it if in an acident. use it to take pics of the damage and of where cars are before they are moved if possable...- mikey1273

Amsoil claims 25,000 miles on one of their oils with their best filter. I don't buy into it not for a diesel for sure but they aren't recomending it for diesel engines... only gas engines still I'm not sure about that.
