Mopar Oil Filter
I could believe Purolator - for a CRD, the Mopar filter is actually stamped "Made in Italy". And the only aftermarket filter I've found that is an exact match as far as construction and layout is a Purolator. Yep, the factory air intake sucked right off the bottom front of the grille - and believe me, it SUCKED!!!!:mad: I couldn't go 500 miles without a brand new air filter turning black and looking like it'd been in there for 5 years. Agreed. DaimlerChrysler seemed to be in full penny-pinching mode when it came to the '05 model year. Cheaper plastic in the interior, no weather strip at the top of the windshield, thinner rubber on the door seals, and cheaper seats as well. 2006 CRD Glow Plug Lamp
Remember the old joke about driving thru a town so small that if you blinked you'd miss it? Same way with the glow plug light on a CRD - even in cold weather, they're only on for a couple of seconds, and if you're not looking right at the light when you turn the key, you'll completely miss that...- retmil46
